Journalists from Lagos, Abuja, Kwara, and Enugu participated in a virtual Tobacco and Data Journalism Training organized by RDI on Monday, January 29, 2024.
The training targeted media practitioners who are interested in upscaling their tobacco control and public health reporting. Speakers included Philip Jakpor, Executive Director of RDI, Seember Ali of Development Gateway, Austine Iraoya of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Labram Musah of Vision for Alternative Development (VALD) Ghana, and Vanessa Adie Offiong, a media strategist.
